I am so proud to introduce Savannah Jane!!! We have all been waiting for her arrival for what seems like forever! Savannah's momma and I are very close friends and I've had the pleasure and have been blessed to know her for 3 years now. I feel like I've known her forever and was beyond happy when she announced she was pregnant with her first! Our other friend and I were just starting our pregnancies at the same time and we have had soooo much fun going through our pregnancies together. Needless to say, our husbands pretty much ignored the three of us when we would get together over the last few months because our only topic of conversation was pregnancy and all the gripes and groans that go along with it.
There is something magical about watching someone you love and care about become a mom for the first time. You know they are experiencing a kind of love that you can only experience with the birth of your first child. I told Mandy she would fall in love instantly and she did! I got to hold this angel less than 24 hours after she was born and I instantly teared up because I know the love she will be surrounded in with this family. I know without a doubt Matt and Mandy will be exceptional parents and know how lucky Savannah is to have these two as her parents. Congratulations guys! You know we love you and love Savannah and are so happy for you! We can't wait to watch the girls grow up together!!!
