A Little Girl is on Her Way! Maternity Photographer Holly Springs

I have gone back and forth on whether or not to post these pictures and here's why, they're of ME!  I love love doing maternity pictures but just don't get that many clients wanting them.  It's such an intimate thing to have your growing body photographed and not everyone is comfortable with how they look. Many photographers I know post self portraits and after a lot of thought, I decided to show these.

Not all maternity pictures have to be of the mother beaming happily or in an angelic state.  Pregnancy is neither of those!  It's fun, hard, challenging and such an amazing time in a woman's life!  I have loved being pregnant both times and enjoy celebrating this special time in my life and in others.  I was able to do some of the things I've always had in mind for my clients with my own growing belly.  Self photography is a HUGE challenge in itself.  Unfortunately my husband is not creatively inclined so I was left to do these on my own, with me, myself and my tripod, oh and yes, my 3 year old son laughing hysterically at me!  Above all, I hope these show that maternity pictures can be fun, creative and original!  Here are a few of my favorites from my own maternity session!
