So I must start this entry off with a little background as to why I titled it, "Rules Are Meant to Be Broken". If you are a client of mine with a newborn you have received an email from me with a list of instructions to do before my arrival, things that will help the "session go smoothly". I'm always careful to reiterate throughout the email how important it is to follow these instructions and how much it will help the baby to be nice and sleepy. This little guy broke all the rules! His parents did EXACTLY as I asked and he was wide awake for almost three hours straight! He never cried, just interested in all that was going on around him! For six days old, that's pretty impressive that he was able to stay awake that long. As I told his parents, "I can out last him"! and I did and it was sooo worth it!
This family is just one of the sweetest I've had the opportunity to work with. They love their children and it shows in everything they do! Congratulations on your fourth baby! He's adorable and clearly is already advanced, staying awake that long!!!
